Rev. Timothy Shull – Director of Missions

Our Director of Missions since 2014 is Rev. Tim Shull. He is a graduate of Charleston Southern University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, having been in the ministry since 1982 and having served as a senior pastor since 1987. He was also a church planter for 17 years. Tim is a son of long-time pastor Dr. Lonnie Shull, Jr. and his wife, Hazel. Tim’s brother, Andrew, is pastor of First Baptist Church, Woodruff, SC.

Tim is married to the former Gloria Saxon since 1984. Gloria is also a graduate of Charleston Southern University and New Orleans Seminary. She served on the South Carolina Baptist Convention Select Services Corp as a consultant in training for teaching preschoolers. She served in the Missions Mobilization Group of the SCBC for more than 13 years. Since 2012 she has served in the Pastoral Care office at Lexington Medical Center. Tim and Gloria have two grown children: Jared is an Emergency Medical Technician in Columbia and Hannah is an Emergency Physician in Greenville.
